Monica & Joe at Karma Kandara

A touch of the spectacular on the cliffs of Nusa Dua, with views to match. Monica and Joe’s cliff top ceremony was followed by a raucous night of fun on the beach below. Two great families and a party obsessed guest list, provided the fuel for one enormous celebration – awesome.

Jemma & Nick at Ombak Luwung

Colour, colour and more colour – it’s easy to see Jemma & Nick’s palette preferences. Bow ties and braces for the boys were just a couple of the style elements providing ‘the look’. This super easy and naturally photogenic couple, gave me some of the year’s most iconic shots.

Georgia & James at Villa Tamarama

Perched on a steep cliff in Uluwatu is Villa Tamarama, a beautiful colonial style villa complete with whitewashed pillars, balconies, shutters and decking. This breathtaking setting was the venue for Georgia and James’ wedding ceremony and much of their photography. All this topped off with a dusk shoot on the deserted beach below – outstanding.

Katie & Rikesh at Alila Ubud

Katie and Rikesh chose Alila Ubud as the venue for their wedding for its quintessential Balinese setting. Surrounded by emerald rice fields, it really does have a picture postcard feel. Even the rain didn’t diminish the occasion and if anything provided more moody and dramatic lighting. Dusk in the rice fields, just after a rain shower, is an amazing place to be.

Elina & David at Villa Latitude

What I loved about Elina and David was the fact that they really couldn’t keep their hands off each other all day – a more loving couple would be hard to find. Instantly friendly and welcoming, it was impossible not to be swept up by their enthusiasm and joy for life. A brilliant day and gorgeous photos.

El & Si at Villa Arika

El and Si chose Villa Arika for its absolute beachfront location and expansive lawns and gardens. Determined to make the most of this, they spread their day across the huge property, giving me ample time and scope to get great shots of them, their playful bridal party and guests. Loved their idea of replacing the traditional wedding cake with a champagne fountain – cheers to that.

Julie & Robert at Ayana

A terrific young couple with an eye for the traditional, Julie and Robert decided on a chapel setting overlooking the Indian Ocean for their ceremony. The whole afternoon was spent around the grounds of the Ayana, soaking up the fabulous backdrops for photography. A firework extravaganza from the cliff top, rounded off a day packed with romance.

Lydia & Winston at Uma Nina

The hilltop Villa Uma Nina with its panoramic views across southern Bali witnessed an emotion packed day. Vivacious and generous, Lydia and Winston were determined for their day to be as much about their family and friends as about themselves. I’m sure the party went on well into the night…

Lisa & James at Villa Latitude

What an amazing venue – great gardens, views and architecture – and what a gorgeous couple. Lisa and James put themselves completely in my hands as we really worked the different backdrops the villa has in abundance. Beautiful rustic detailing on the tables worked as great contrast to the infinite ocean views.

Ashlee & Luke at Kunja

It was all about the contrast of settings at Ashlee and Luke’s wedding. A classic chapel wedding at Kunja, gave way to the more traditional Balinese terrain of paddy fields, dreamy lanes and dramatic coastlines for our photoshoot.
